Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

As a child I would set up an improvised portrait studio in the front yard — usually just a chair in front of the bottle brush tree — and photograph the neighbours. When I went on maternity leave, I made a deliberate choice to build something of my own rather than return to a career in management. Specialising in newborn photography felt like the most natural decision I could make.

I hold formal qualifications in photography and am trained in newborn safety. My work has been recognised in national competitions and featured in Australian Photography Magazine. While beautiful images matter, the wellbeing of your baby always comes first — every pose, every prop, and every moment in my studio is guided by that commitment.

As a mum myself, I understand how precious — and how fleeting — this season really is. Each month I photograph only a small number of newborns to ensure every family receives my full attention. Sessions are calm and unhurried, with plenty of time to feed, settle, and simply be present with your baby.

It is a privilege to document this season of your life.
